I remember Dr. Darby from 26 years ago when I was inpatient at Toronto East General and he and everyone else did not know much about bi polar disorder in those days and that is what I had and got an accurate diagnosis years later and am on lithium and seroquel and doing just fine. Dr. Darby was a sweet man and I know Dr. Paul Posner forensic psychiatrist from years ago and I feel all you psychiatrists are more important than any other doctor. I have such lovely memories of dear Dr. Darby and my thoughts and prayers are with him. It is too bad he had to meet me when I was so very sick and came across as someone difficult to deal with and once I got the right medication I was just fine. I am Irish too and have a good feeling towards the Irish and I am a direct descendant of the King of Ireland. Do take care dear Dr. Darby and all the best.
