I was both devastated and blessed to learn of a tumour growing on my asophegus. I was devastated because it was by chance that it was discovered and blessed because it was caught early enough and removed without complications. I owe the great success of the Surgery and quick successful healing and recovery process to the very gifted Dr. Seely, Surgeon in the Thoracic Department of the Ottawa Hospital. I couldn't have asked for a better Surgeon. Without Dr. Seely I don't believe I would be writing this today. The Ottawa Hospital, in my view, is blessed to have so many wonderful Doctors and Surgeons on staff such as Dr. Seely. The Ottawa Community is blessed to have access to all of the Ottawa Hospital's "Finest". I am very Grateful to the Canadian Government and it's wonderful Healthcare System.
