A Praise Report

I accompanied my mom who has a history of brain aneurysm to visit the Scarborough Hospital (at Birchmount), after the Telehealth Registered Nurse strongly recommended us to check in a hospital immediately.

From the news and words of mouth, it has been for a number of years, I generally heard bad experiences from users of the old ScarboroughGrace Hospital. Therefore we got cold feet when the paramedics confirmed us that Scarborough Grace was the most available and the closest hospital for us and we needed to go.

Nevertheless, our visit today with the emergency doctor, Dr. Sachin Ramkissoon, changed our view of the new ScarboroughHospital, Birchmount Campus, and will certainly change our talk about it. He got the right attitude, diligent, and top-notch; most importantly he treated us with care and respect from his HEART. We patients and families can tell if the medical professionals really care for us or seeing us as a task. On top of that, Dr. Ramkissoon was professional, canvassing, listening, and answering each detail of our medical concerns, effectively, efficiently, as a result, giving us the peace of mind. This impression -- we usually only expect to see from a doctor in hospitals like Sunnybrook or Mount Sinai, etc. Well, I’m sorry to say that I have to announce to people I know of that this stereotype has to be corrected, because I have met Dr. Sachin Ramkissoon in ScarboroughHospital, Grace Campus today!
