I am beginning my chemotherapy treatments, four chemo sessions, two weeks apart with Dr. Gertler as my oncologist. I am so pleased that at this hard time in my life I have a doctor that embodies compassion, gentility and a keen interest in me as his patient. I am a tough cookie, a nurse, and I could see immediately what a kind, emphatic Doctor he is. Before I told him I was a nurse. I know what to look for.
